Police are urging parents in the Lochgelly area to be aware after local teenagers were approached and given white tablets.

Police Scotland issued the alert after two teenagers were approached by a male in Main Street, Lochgelly at around 9.30pm on December 29 and given two white tablets.

Officers have said work is ongoing to identify the male and to confirm what the tablets are.
