Police appeal after theft of outboard motor from Fife harbour

Police are probing the theft of an outboard motor from St Andrews harbour.

It was stolen from the shorehead several months ago.

Police said the theft occurred around 6.40pm on Tuesday, March 22.

It was a grey Mariner outboard four stroke with a red wave pattern and some scratching on the letters.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the motor and anyone with information is asked to get in touch, including if they are offered it for sale or see any online adverts suggesting it is for sale.
