Police hunt Dalgety Bay flasher

Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure in Dalgety Bay.

The incident happened around 8pm on Wednesday, October 19 at St Davids Harbour.

A male was seen exposing himself before heading towards a grassy area on Harbour Place.

Officers are now urging anyone can assist with their inquiries to get in touch.

The suspect is described as white, between 30and 40-years-old, 5ft 10ins tall with a small to medium build and either very short hair or a bald head.

He was wearing a black baggy jacket, and was carrying dark coloured trousers.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh said: “Although nobody was hurt, the witnesses who reported this offence were obviously shocked by this unacceptable behaviour.

“We are appealing to anybody else who saw the male in the area to come forward, particularly those who recognise his description and can help identify him.

“There have been similar incidents reported in the Dunfermline area in recent weeks, however, we are treating these incidents separately”.
