Police hunting for a man who exposed himself to two women in Kirkcaldy say it is “vital” he is traced.

The incident happened in the Greenloanings area of the town last night.

Police Scotland said two women walking along Greenloanings around 9:00pm heard a noise behind them.

On turning round, the man exposed himself to them.

Police said the man was wearing what looked like a balaclava, and dark clothing.

Detective Inspector Chris Dow, said: “Although nobody is physically hurt in these incidents, they can be incredibly frightening.

“The man left the area after several seconds, running away from them down an alleyway.

“It is vital that we can trace him.

“Anyone with any information is asked to come forward.”
