Police issue warning after spate of thefts in Fife town

Police Scotland has warned residents in St Andrews to be vigilant, after a spate of thefts.

Houses on Berry Place, Learmouth Place and Crawford Gardens were broken into between 5-9pm yesterday (Tuesday) with cash and jewellery stolen.

It is believed the crimes are linked.

Fifers are urged to call 101 if they have information about the incidents.
