Police have issued an appeal after a section of Burntisland’s Lammerlaws was destroyed by weedkiller.

The incident is believed to have happened at the start of July, damaging vegetation and grass on the popular coastal walk.

Officers in Kirkcaldy have appealed for information after posting pictures of the damage on their social media accounts.

The weedkiller destroyed plants, insects and wildlife.

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote reference 2293 of July 2.
