Police probe 'fire bomb' attack on Fife home

Police are investigating after a bottle of flammable liquid was thrown at a Kirkcaldy home in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened at around 12.30am today in the Blackcraigs area, when it is understood that the bottle was launched at an open window.

Police say that the bottle was not lit, and no one was injured in the incident, but confirmed that an investigation is underway.

A police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 00:30am on Monday, July 6, 2020, police received a report that a bottle containing potentially flammable liquid had been thrown at a property in Blackcraigs, Kirkcaldy.

“The bottle was unlit and no-one was injured in the incident.

“An investigation is currently underway.”
