Police probe linked booze thefts in two Fife towns

The incidents happened within an hour of each other on Thursday.

In both cases alcohol was stolen.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “ said: “Around 7.15pm on Thursday, we received a report of a theft of alcohol from a premises in High Street, Kinghorn.

“Around 7.50pm on the same night officers received a report of a theft of alcohol, estimated to be worth around £700, from a premises in Dollar Road, Burntisland.”
