Police seize £30,000 in Fife drugs raids

Two women have been arrested and £30,000 worth of drugs seized after police raided two addresses in Fife.

The two women, aged 30 and 29, were arrested in a raid on two properties on Westwood Avenue, Kirkcaldy on Tuesday, September 29.

Officers from the Proactive Unit, seized a significant quantity of Class A and B drugs, including cocaine and herbal cannabis, worth £30,000.

Detective Sergeant Russell Craig said: "Our communities have told told us that tackling drug crime remains a priority, and we continue to use all resources at our disposal to disrupt the sale and supply of illicit substances.

"We will not allow people to profit from putting other's lives at risk and from causing disruption and concern to the community. We continue to urge the public to help us, as all the information we are given will be taken seriously."
