Teenagers charged after throwing eggs at police car in Fife town

Two teenagers have been charged after throwing eggs at vehicles – and a moving police car.

The incident happened in the Shorehead area of Leven on Sunday afternoon.

Police were called out after it was reported that youths were throwing eggs at vehicles.

The Police Scotland spokesperson added: “As officers arrived, eggs were also thrown at the moving police car. Following enquiries, we can confirm that two teen boys, aged 14 and 15, have been charged and will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.”
