Two Buckhaven men who admitted damaging a car belonging to an elderly woman have had their sentence deferred until next month.

Jay Crichton, of Eagle Road, and Cameron Nicholson, of Kestrel Grove, appeared before Sheriff Gilchrist at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Crichton, 20, and Nicholson, 18, admitted that on May 4, 2019 at Croft Crescent, Markinch they maliciously damaged a wing mirror affixed to a motor vehicle registered to an 81-year-old woman.

Sheriff Gilchrist deferred sentence until April 21 to obtain a report and Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
