Woman in court after stealing alcohol from Kirkcaldy Co-Op

A woman who admitted stealing alcohol from a Kirkcaldy supermarket has had her sentence deferred until the new year.

Elizabeth Soutar, of Glamis Road, Kirkcaldy, was not in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court when her case called before Sheriff Alistair Thornton.

Soutar, 40, previously admitted that on August 25, this year at the Co-op in Dunearn Drive, Kirkcaldy she stole a quantity of alcohol.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until January 14 to allow for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and restriction of liberty report.
