A woman who stole alcohol from a Kirkcaldy shop and breached bail has been jailed for 12 months.

Elizabeth Soutar, who appeared via video link from prison, had her case call before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Soutar, 40, admitted that on August 25, 2020 at the Co-op in Dunearn Drive, Kirkcaldy she stole a quantity of alcohol.

She also admitted breaching her bail conditions when she was found to be outwith her home address.

Sheriff Williamson ordered her to serve 12 months in prison.
