Youth charged after Burntisland attempted robbery
A youth is set to appear in court today after an attempted robbery on Burntisland High Street.
The incident happened on Sunday morning at the Co-op, shortly before 6.30am
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 16-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted robbery within a shop on the High Street in Burntisland.
"The incident happened shortly before 6.30am on Sunday, 30 August.
"He was expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday, 31 August."
