Members and supporters of Autism Rocks (Fife) were solid in their resolve on Sunday as they staged a fund-raising trek across the Forth road bridge .

The group, co-founded by committee chairman Liza Quin, of Methil, aims to provide a purpose-built centre in Levenmouth to help people with autism and similar conditions.

Committee members, including Liza, with Carol Chisholm (vice-chairman), Karen Murphy (secretary), Donna Taylor (treasurer) and Hayley Dunleavey (fundraising), are pictured with Phil White (dry goods manager) from Sainsbury’s in Kirkcaldy, who joined in and also donated snacks and drinks for the walkers.

Liza was grateful to all group members, their families and friends for taking part, also Siobhan Hunter and her family for raising funds for the group by doing the Colour-Me-Rad run, and the Co-op in Lochore for donating £20 for refreshments.
