CUPAR Golf Club is again offering to deliver Christmas cards around the town.

This is the fifth year of the scheme, which is an important fund-raising initiative for the club.

The cost this year is just 20p, which is only a little over half the official rate.

Treasurer, Oliver Will, explained that a number of members, who are well used to walking the golf course, had again volunteered to make the deliveries, after overcoming last year’s atrocious conditions.

“We delivered thousands of cards last year and see this as a great way to raise funds for our fine little golf club,” said Oliver.

Cupar residents are invited to drop off their cards to any of the four collection points up until the last day for delivery, which will be Monday, December 19.

The town centre collection points are at the Ceramic Experience in Bonnygate; Central Café, Crossgate; Print and Stationary Office, Crossgate; and Cupar Golf Clubhouse, off Ceres Road.

All cards will be delivered around the town before Christmas.
