A customer of the local RBS bank has called on the branch to take action after its carpark was left in a state of disrepair due to bouts of bad weather over the past year.
Dorothy Deas has been a customer of the bank, which sits at the corner of School Lane and Durie Street in the centre of Leven, for many years.
She previously complained about the state of the customer car park after severe winters in 2009 and 2010, and repairs were made, but Dorothy claims the patchworks are no longer sufficient.
“Something has to be done. There is a big pothole right where the disabled bays are, which is where I park, and you have to go past it to get into the bank. It’s not very safe.”
Dorothy said she informed staff about the problem weeks ago but has had no further correspondence and fears nothing will be done.
In response, an RBS spokesman said:”We are aware of the issues with the car park at our Leven branch. It will be fixed as part of regular maintenance throughout the year.”
