Leven beauty is Face of Fife 2013
Meet our Face of Fife 2013 - Danielle Halliday!
The gorgeous 20-year-old from Leven wowed the judges at the fantastic grand final fashion show in a packed Society on Sunday to land the prestigious title and a host of fabulous prizes.
All 12 of the finalists looked stunning as they paraded on the catwalk in front of an enthusiastic audience of family and friends.
But our expert judges, who agreed that the high standard this year made the decision incredibly difficult, thought Danielle’s “distinctive look, bubbly personality and presence on the catwalk” made her a worthy winner.
The qualified zumba instructor, who works in a tanning salon and her local Co-op, admitted she was stunned when her name was announced.
“I just can’t believe it, it was such a surprise,” she said. “All the girls were really beautiful and anyone could have won, it was such a shock when my name was read out.
“The whole day was such an amazing experience, I think we all had a lot of fun and I’m just so happy. It doesn’t seem real yet!”
Runner-up was 18-year-old Megan Cullen from Leslie, while third place went to Sarah Murphy (24), from Kirkcaldy.
Danielle won £500 courtesy of main sponsors Society, a photoshoot and professional portfolio from Catch Photography, makeover from Migele Experience, a voucher for a beauty treatment from Radiantly Beautiful, and a place on a four-day Foundation Course run by the Central Scotland Modelling School.
And as Face of Fife 2013, she will, when available, also represent the Fife Free Press Group at events and photo calls.
Megan and Sarah will also have a photoshoot with Catch, while all 12 finalists will receive a £50 voucher towards a Foundation course with CSMS.
