Police investigating the unexplained death of a sports therapist in Kirkcaldy are trying to piece together her final days.
Jennifer Edwards was found dead at her home in Deas Wharf, Kirkcaldy in the early hours on Sunday June 14. Her death is still being treated as ‘unexplained’.
The 45-year-old worked as a sports massage therapist at her home and police wish to speak to any clients who saw her in the week leading up to her death.
They particularly want to speak to anyone who saw Ms Edwards between Tuesday, June 9 and Saturday, June 13 as police try and piece together her movements.
It came as her family paid tribute to her in a statement released by Police Scotland.
They said: “We are devastated by the loss of Jennifer, who was a much loved mother, daughter and sister. She was an intelligent and talented musician and sports therapist who has travelled the world with her gift.
“We are supportive of Police Scotland’s investigation into the circumstances of Jennifer’s death. We also ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
Detective Inspector David Pinkney said: “We are still working to establish the full circumstances of Jennifer’s death and are eager to gather as much information as possible.
“Anyone with information regarding Jennifer’s last days is asked to contact police immediately.”
