The Inbetweeners - Recommended by Fiona Purnell
NOT usually a fan of big screen versions of television programmes I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
Director Ben Palmer has done well to ensure the film feels like an extended version of the show, rather than anything else.
We join the gang - Will, Simon, Jay and Neil - as they finish their final year of school and head off on a lads holiday.
They are excited about spending two weeks in Malia enjoying the sun, sand, drinks and the ladies.
But as you’d expect from these lads, it’s not all as plain sailing as they expect and they find themselves in a number of scrapes.
There’s plenty of laughs in the 90 minutes and lots that anyone who remembers their teenage years can relate to.
Well worth watching if you’re a fan, but even if you’ve never watched the TV series there’s nothing to stop you watching it as a back story isn’t really necessary.
But it’s probably not one for the easily offended.
