The sun was shining for a host of events over the Easter weekend in Levenmouth.
On Saturday, dozens of locals turned out for a fun day at Silverburn Park, which was organised by Fife Employment Access Trust. As well as information on how the organisation’s plans for the park are coming along, there was also demonstrations by Medieval Methil, the Leven branch of the GTF Taekwondo Federation and music from a number of local bands.
And along the coast in Anstruther, the locals got their feathers in a flap for the annual duck race at the Dreel Burn. Organised by the Anstruther Improvements Association, the sun wasn’t the only bright yellow thing on show as 1000 yellow rubber ducks made their way down the burn.
On Sunday, the fun continued at Letham Glen park at an event organised to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. As well as entertainment from local musicians and the Rainbow Choir, there was also a bar on offer for the over 18s thanks to The Venue, and a bouncy castle slide and egg painting for kids.
Ross Caldwell who organised the event with other students from the HNC Events Management course at Fife College, said they had raised nearly £1300 for the cancer charity.
