Elderly woman taken to hospital after five-car collision in Kirkcaldy

Emergency services headed to Kirkcaldy High Street shortly before noon.

The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a report of five cars in a crash on Kirkcaldy High Street around 11.50am.

"Emergency services attended and an elderly woman was taken to hospital as a precaution. There were no reports of injuries.

"The road re-opened around 2.20pm.”
