These vacancies are for people who currently live in Fife and must also be aged between 16 and 24 as at July 31, 2016.

Councillor Judy Hamilton, spokesperson for housing and building services, said: “Fife Council is committed to creating employment and training opportunities for our young people in Fife.

“These apprenticeships will allow these young people to gain the skills and experience that they can take into fantastic new careers in a wide variety of areas.

“Our unemployment levels within the 16-24 year old age group are at an unacceptable level and these opportunities will help to tackle that unwanted statistic.”

Applications can be made through fife.myjobscotland.gov.uk. The closing date is Friday February 12.
