Fife Council have announced the changes due to a shortage in staff because of the coronavirus crisis.
In a statement, the local authority said: “Due to reduced staffing levels as a result of Covid-19 we are concentrating our resources on emptying landfill and food/garden waste bins.
“There may be disruption to some plastic/can and paper/card routes.
