Bosses from Fife Ethylene Plant were due to attend Burntisland Community Council’s monthly meeting on Friday.

Their presence was expected to draw a larger normal attendance from the public.

It was confirmed tonight it was off because of the Coronavirus.

Companies across Fife are putting in place a raft of measures to avoid the virus spreading.

The community council will still go ahead with its monthly meeting.
