The third-year student and climate activist presented her book and talked about the importance of art and activism and how everyone can join efforts to protect our planet.

The poetry book is non-for profit with all profits going to environmental charities. The profits from the book launch evening will go to Greenpeace.

There was also an exhibition of Greenpeace pictures at the book launch and Greenpeace representatives from Edinburgh joined the event.

Léa’s talk was followed by a discussion with Stephen Gethins, former MP for North East Fife and newly appointed professor of practice in the School of International Relations and advisor to the principal on external relations, on the importance of youth involvement in climate activism from a political perspective.
