New bin lorries launched to serve rural communities in Fife

Three new smaller bin lorries are to be launched next year to improve collection in hard-to-access streets in north east Fife.

The news has been welcomed by local councillor Jonny Tepp, who says there are a number of streets in his constituency which struggle to get regular collections because of problems.

Cllr Tepp said: “This is good news for residents in Tay Bridgehead in particular, where I understand most problems are found.

“I have been writing to the service nearly every week for several months on behalf of residents here who have written to me with concern over their bins not being emptied. I hope these new RCVs will be an improvement for residents.”
