Fife bin collections to start next week

Bin collections in Fife are set to start again on Monday.

The move has been announced by Fife Council on its Twitter feed. But a spokesman for the local authority said it will need to concentrate on the routine collection cycle.

It comes after bin collections had been cancelled as a result of the bad weather.

The statement said: “We expect to start bin collections again on Monday but will need to focus on routine collection cycle (apart from brown bins) & can’t take extra bags. Please bring bins in until your next collection date. Read more info & advice about waste here http://bit.ly/2GTUnxh”
