Fife commuters face rush hour delays after signal failure

A signal failure at Kinghorn this afternoon is threatening to leave rush hour commuters frustrated.

ScotRail announced that the fault between Kinghorn and Burntisland this afternoon is set to cause delays or see services revised.

Train services are returning to normal but some services will still be affected.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: “We’re sorry to customers for the disruption.

“Anyone who has been delayed by 30 minutes or more is entitled to compensation under our Delay Repay Guarantee.
