Firefighters making site of Fife trading estate fire safe day after blaze

Fire crews are still working in Cupar, one day after a blaze broke out in the town’s trading estate

The fire started yesterday (Tuesday) morning and fire crews were quickly on the scene.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 10.23am, Tuesday, July 21, to reports of a fire within a building at Cupar Trading Estate, Fife.

“At its height, Operations Control mobilised nine fire appliances, two height vehicles and a number of specialist resources to the scene.

“A total of three fire appliances and one height vehicle remain in attendance this morning, Wednesday, July 22, as firefighters work to make the area safe.

“There are no reported casualties.”
