Five vehicles destroyed in fire at Fife Council depot

Five vehicles have been destroyed in a fire at a Fife Council depot.

The incident happened last night at a facility at Halbeath Industrial Estate.

The fire broke out around 8:30pm and was attended by two fire crews from Dunfermline.

They found five vehicles well alight.

A spokesman for Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, said: “Crews worked to extinguish the fire which was put out at 9.18pm. They left the scene at 10.36pm.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
