Builders given the task of fixing the exterior of a council owned property in Pitteuchar have left the family exasperated.
Scaffolding was erected to the outside of the home five weeks ago but no builders have since been near the property.
To add to the woes, several pallets of building materials have also be delivered, which have blocked the family car in the drive.
Tenant, Tracey Baxter was told when she moved into the property in October last year that the work would have been completed by the new year.
“It’s a lot of hassle, the car’s blocked in and the kids can’t play in the garden” she said.
A suspected delay in materials is the cause of the problem, Fife Council has since confirmed the work was expected to get underway within a few days.
