Forth Road Bridge closed: police incident closes Forth Bridge

The closures affects north and southbound carriageways. The footpath is also closed and emergency services are at the scene.

The bridge is now a transport corridor and used for buses. Some services have been cancelled according to Stagecoach.

The bridge has been closed since late afternoon.
