Four youths – aged 14, 15, 16 and 19 – have been charged following a break-in to Buckhaven High School and subsequent vandalism of over 60 windows.

The damage, caused in August, exceeded £10,000 and all four boys – none of whom were pupils at the school – will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Area ward officer PC Richard Cartwright said: “I want to thank the public for their continued support of our investigation, which was an excellent example of the community spirit in Levenmouth.”
