A 14-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of anti-social behaviour offences carried out in north east Fife.
In the past two weeks, there have been seven reports for vandalism, general disturbances and attempted theft at Duffus Park in Cupar and at Roselea Gardens in Ladybank.
Following a thorough investigation, divisional officers swiftly traced and subsequently arrested a male as part of their inquiry.
A report has now been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the teenager is expected to appear in court in due course.
PC Leisa Metcalfe of Police Scotland said: “Anti-social behaviour has a detrimental impact on a community and we take a zero tolerance approach towards anyone found to be engaged in this disruptive activity.
“Officers will continue to carry out high visibility patrols in the areas of Cupar and Ladybank to provide a reassurance to the public and to address any further acts of anti-social behaviour.
“Anyone who wants to report criminal activity in their community can contact police on 101 or speak to any officer.”
