All Days Fade were put together by Kirkcaldy school friends Cameron Campbell and Clark Thompson, who had first met at Viewforth High.
Having played with earlier school bands including The Crucified Brains, Cameron got together for rehearsals with Clark for what would become All Days Fade in early 1986.
With a sound which was heavily influenced by The Cure, the band worked hard over the next two years playing in venues across Fife including the St Clair Tavern and the Boar’s Head in Auchtermuchty.
The last ever gig for the band was at Panther’s in Kirkcaldy on September 2 1988 before Cameron and Clark would go on to their next band The Amused in 1990.
Joined by vocalist Julie Watts and drummer Andrew Millar, this line up would be short-lived, lasting just over a year. They recorded a demo entitled ‘Hope’ before splitting in 1991. Cameron and Clark then moved on to their next project, Darlingheart’
