Juno! were formed in 2004 and toured extensively until 2009 - their unique blend of free jazz, psychedelia, funk, acid house, disco, soul, country, dub reggae, electro and rock garnering rave reviews in the music press.
Their four early indie releases quickly sold out upon release.
A five-year hiatus after the collapse of their Japanese record label followed but the band are releasing their long-awaited debut album, ‘Harder Than It Should Be’ later this year.
Juno will be promoting the album with a number of local gigs that will be announced soon on their Twitter and Facebook pages.
Juno’s members are from Fife, Glasgow and even Tokyo. It is a band that can truly claim to be international.
There are a few core members and this has swelled when all part time collaborators join in to perform.
Juno are a spectacle on stage and have been described as very vibrant and lively and their gigs are full of enjoyment and all about having fun.
Juno have played a number of gigs over the years including Glasgow International Film Festival, Rockness, Go North, Tigerfest, The Mill launch party, Gimme Shelter, Hinterland festival, Glasgow Music Showcase and the Kopparberg Tour.
They have also supported Glasvegas.
