The Coaltown Daisies have established themselves on Fife’s viubrant acoustic music scene.
Formed by Vivienne Bern and Lynzy Moutter - a former winner of the Fife Free Press ‘Voice Of Fife competition - they have been at the forefront of organising local gigs as well as playing live across Scotland, and spending time in the recording studio .
The Daisies, from Glenrothes, have grown in stature, from playing small local ven ues asuch as the Inn at Lathones to appearing at Big Tent Festival, Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, and at Montrose Music festival.
Notable gigs have also seen them support Horse McDonald, and The Springsteen Sessions at Rothes Halls which also doubled as their home town debut
A six-track live album - ‘Live At The Green Room - was also recorded in Dunfermline last year.
Their 2014 schedule is alsom packed with plans and gigs. Their intinerary includes tour covering the Western Isles, Central Scotland and the North East. in addition to appesarances at Bowfest, Montrose Music Festival, Glen Clova Festival, Aberdour Festival and Perthshire Amber Festival.
They are also planning an acoustic music club reunion at Betty Nicols, Kirkcaldy, in April.
