Children across the Levenmouth area are being encouraged to stay active over the Easter holidays by a partnership between Active Schools, Sports Development and Kirkland High School Community Use.
Primary school aged children under the guidance of many volunteers have been trying some new and exciting activities such as swimming and karate as well as some taster sessions from local sports clubs.

Active Schools Co-ordinators, Jennifer Mann and Alexander Bird said: “ This camp gives the local children a great opportunity to be physically active throughout the holidays. The children can try out new sports such as Run Jump Throw, rugby, bowls, karate, gymnastics, and dance which directly link into provision within the area. It also allows some of our talented young people to use the skills they have learnt in our leadership programmes”
The next set of sports camps will run over the first and last weeks of the summer holidays at Kirkland HS and Kennoway Primary Community Use schools.
