Locals are being encouraged to join in celebrations marking 25 years since Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre opened its doors.
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has organised a fun-packed day of activity to mark the occasion this Sunday.
The Trust is promising a great day for all the family, including free activities such as gymnastics, basketball and fun in the pool with a family swim session.
Also up for grabs will be a free month’s pass to Leisure Active – the Trust’s membership scheme – and overseeing proceedings will be the Trust’s mascot, Archie the Hippo.
Since the Trust took over the running of Fife’s sports facilities in 2008, Levenmouth Pool has recorded over 1.2 million attendances.
Scott Urquhart, operations manager, said: “Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre is a facility which is well used by the local community and visitors alike – we wanted to celebrate its role in providing years of leisure opportunities, activities, classes and fun to young and old.
The celebration day will be a fantastic opportunity to come down and have an active day out with all the familyScott Urquhart, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust operations manager
