A fundraising page has been set up to help complete a renovation project at Milnathort Girl Guides Hall.
Some work on the hall has already been completed or is currently ongoing, including the installation of disabled access and the upgrading of the former scout end of the hall.
The group is now urging locals to help it raise £5000, which will help complete the project.
Alison Hamilton, district commissioner, said: “In 2014 the hall was signed over to the Guides and it is now our responsibility to upgrade and renovate the hall.
“We have done the kitchen, but the biggest problem is that the hall is all exposed stonework, meaning its very damp and very cold.”
With work now focused on the main hall, which is used by numerous groups in the area, the Guides are seeking funding to finish the project.
Work still needing to be done includes repointing the walls, boxing in the pipes, installing new doors and adding notice boards.
“The hall is very important to the village,” Alison explained.
“We have ceilidh dancers, a drama class, taekwondo, venture scouts, Brownies and much more.
“It’s a beautiful little hall.
“We need to make it more sustainable so we don’t need to keep applying for grants.”
