CUPAR Blues & Beyond Club is getting the New Year off to a flying start with an appearance by Blues ‘n’ Trouble front man Sandy Tweedale.
Apart from Blues ‘n’ Trouble, Sandy – who will play a gig at Watts on January 14 – has recorded with Lazy Lester, Blue Hyenas, The Troublemakers, The River Devils, and has now recorded his first solo CD ‘At Home with the Blues’.
Over the years Sandy has worked with the likes of Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Charlie Musselwhite, Jack Bruce, Canned Heat, Maggie Bell, The Blues Band and Otis Grand.
Sandy has also toured twice with Louisiana harp player Lazy Lester.
After his appearance in Cupar Sandy will be starting a tour with his band the River Devils, and then in February he will be off to France with his other band, Blues ‘n’ Trouble.
Tickets are available from Bairds Property Shop, Cupar, and from Watts.
