Glenrothes death - man charged with murder


Ian Goodall was found dead in his home in Minto Crescent on Saturday.
A 25-year-old man has appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today charged with his murder.

Hide AdDetective Inspector Stuart Wilson, of the Major Investigation Team (MIT), said: “An extensive investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding Ian’s death.
“We’d urge anyone who may have seen Ian in the local area, or anyone entering or leaving his home between midnight and 9.40am on Saturday, to get in touch as soon as possible.
“Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be vital in helping us to form a wider picture of the events leading up to Ian’s death.”
Inspector Joanne McEwan, of Glenrothes, said: “Local officers will be conducting reassurance patrols and doing all possible to support the MIT’s investigation.
