Glenrothes: man’s body identified as 45 year-old local man

The body of a man found near to Collydean in Glenrothes has been identified.

Police in Glenrothes have identified the man who was found at the weekend as 45 year-old Graham Maddock of Glenrothes.

Graham was found dead in a wooded area on Saturday, 12 November by a member of public walking their dog. A post-mortem examination has been carried out and no suspicious circumstances were found.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, Kirkcaldy.

Graham’s brother Greig Maddock, said: “We are truly saddened by Graham’s tragic death. The family would request they be allowed to grieve privately at this difficult time.”

The funeral is to be held in private.
