Glenrothes murder - man appears in court

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Glenrothes man.

Lewis Thomson is accused of murdering Ian Goodall whose body was found in a house in Minto Crescent in the town on June 11.

Thomson (25) appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, where he faced charges of murder, behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He made no plea or declaration and was fully committed for trial. He was released on bail.
