Dancers young and old reeled and jigged the night away to celebrate the first anniversary of Anstruther’s Dreel Halls restoration.
Anstruther Improvements Association and the Anstruther Allotments Association got together to stage the event. Music was by the David Jack Ceilidh Band, and sustenance for the dancers was provided by soup made from seasonal vegetables from the allotments.
AIA President Elizabeth Gordon said the event had been “great fun” despite numbers affected by the winter bug which had hit Anstruther.
“We really appreciated working with the Allotments Association,” she added. “We are trying to do lots of joint ventures.”
