A PUBLIC meeting to present the findings of the Madras site selection is being held at Kilrymont next Monday evening.
Fife Council has now made available the feedback from the last Local Development Group meeting and the two public meetings held at Kilrymont Road, St Andrews, and the Blyth Hall, Newport, at the start of October, as well as the findings from the site selection exercise, and are encouraging people to log on to www/fifedirect.org.uk/madras college to see the results for themselves.
Colin McCredie, programme manager, told the Citizen: “A cross-service team of officers has now met to reassess all the sites against these criteria and the report on the scoring is now on line.
“At the public information session this coming Monday we will present the outcome of the revised scoring exercise.
‘‘The next step will be for officers to make a recommendation on the future of Madras to the Education & Children’s Services Committee on November 10, where it will be for elected members to decide how we proceed.”
Next Monday’s meeting will start at 6.30pm and is expected to be very well attended.
