Horse killed in road crash
A horse has been killed after a car crash near Windygates this morning.
Police are investigating the road traffic collision, which happened around 5.50am on the A911 between Windygates and Milton of Balgonie.
A spokesman said: “The horse unfortunately sustained very serious injuries and was required to be put to sleep at the scene by a vet.
“The 47-year-old female driver of the car was uninjured.
Police scotland confirme the road has now reopened and enquiries are currently ongoing.
