Police in Kirkcaldy are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure that occurred in the Glendale Park area of the town at the weekend.

The incident happened at approximately 4.10 a.m. on Saturday morning.

A 49-year-old woman was within the garden of her property when a man approached the boundary fence, engaged her in conversation and then exposed himself.

The suspect is described as male in his late 20’s/early 30’s, white, 6ft tall, of lean build with facial stubble and has short dark hair underneath a black baseball cap. He was wearing red/orange T-shirt, black shorts and trainers. The man also had a bicycle.

Officers are urging anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Graeme Dursley said: “This has been a very distressing incident for the female victim.

“I would ask anyone that was in the area at that time to contact the police. I would also ask that anyone who recognises the description of the suspect to contact Police Scotland immediately.”
