Tickets for the 2016 Raith Rovers Hall of Fame show have sold out ... in just 90 minutes.
The box office opened at 10.00 a.m. this morning to a queue at Adam Smith Theatre, and every single seat had been snapped up within an hour and a half.
The show doesn’t take place until November 7 - NEXT year.
The instant sell out beat the 24 hours it took for all seats to go for the 2015 show - and that was the fastest selling show at the theatre for over 20 years.
The Hall of Fame was launched in 2012 to honour the greatest Raith players of all time, and it has also feature VIP guests such as Gordon Strachan, Graeme Souness, Jeff Stelling, and Charlie Nicholas.
This year’s show was headlined by Joe Jordan and Harry Redknapp.
Speaking about the insatnt sell out, Alistair Cameron, part of the organising team, said: ‘@we are absolutely stunned at how quickly the tickets have gone this year.
‘‘We put them on sale at three theatres across Fife - Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes - as well as online - because we genuinely thought they’d go over a few days, based on the feedback from the show and the reaction on social media.
‘‘We appreciate many fans will have missed out, but this is a one-off show - we cannot stage it over two nights and we are desperate to keep it in Kirkcaldy where we are already based in the biggest venue in town.
‘‘We have looked in the past at filming the event or staging a live webcast and, given the immediate sell out, we will look again at how feasible such an operation could be.’’
